I’m not a photographer, and the photo I posted the other day didn't quite capture it, so check out this video showing the detail and the clear coat, followed by the finished tailgate installed. I do everything myself from the prep work to the final clear coat. Custom airbrushing is all about atmosphere. For this project, my client gave me a single directive: "Do a Grim Reaper"—and left the rest entirely up to me. Whether it's a painting, a mural, a vehicle graphic, or a tattoo, projects always turn out superior when I have artistic freedom. That's when the finest results shine through. I built the gothic scene around that central figure, incorporating the eerie hourglass in the center, adding detailed texture to a protective raven taking flight, and setting the soft glow of a gothic lantern. Every shadow and highlight was mapped out to flow seamlessly across the truck's body lines. And as always, this is my spooky magic for the day. Big thanks to the client for the ultimate creative freedom.
