"Not good technique, just sayin." I asked what you'd change. Still waiting. Here's what that video was. Color pencil on paper next to the start of a color gradient on fake skin. Two ways to work on the same problem, which is saturation. The paper is where you work out your crosshatching and your manual blending before any of it costs somebody skin.
