Wrist tattoo

Hello, I am interested in getting a wrist tattoo. I don’t know what I want yet. Lots of looking as it took me almost a year to get my first so I am in no hurry. What I would like to ask is this…I am fair skinned blonde and you can see the veins in my wrist. How safe is it to Tattoo across them. I mean could the ink possibly go into them? Should I leave a gap in the Tattoo there. I would like it to go all the way around. Thanks Katwoman
