Worthwhile attempts?

Now that I've got something semi-set up, before I even attempt to go get an apprenticeship I want to see if anyone else thinks I might have what it makes to become a tattoo artist. http://www.artconspiracy.com/gallery.aspx?area=eye&id=2144116248 Some of my pictures, at the moment, only two, and they were uploaded about a year ago. I'll try to get more up there, but I'm just hoping for some good reinforcement or some helpful criticism as to whether or not I should get my hopes up for these oppurtunities coming to me. Hey Device...Thanks for the post first of all! At the point you are at artwise I would suggest that you buy the best art supplies you can find and good quality sketch books along with any art books you can get...then draw draw draw and draw some more...get to the point where you KNOW you are getting good...in the meantime learn as much as you can about the ancient art of tattooing...the internet is a fabulous resource...and get tattooed by as many awesome professional artists as you can...go to conventions..etc don't expect this to just come overnight ...most good artists have been honing their skills nearly all their lives....and let NO ONE discourage you!...YOU CAN DO IT!!! Thanks for the reply, Taz! :-) I've been drawing a lot since then (about a year, year and a half ago), I'm thinking of redrawing my heart, maybe working on some of my other pictures I drew back in highschool, etc. I'll try to actually get some new pictures up, maybe build an online portfolio? Thanks for the advice, once again. I'll be sure to continue to draw :-)
