Where can I get a tattoo????

I'm 17 years old and I would like to get a tattoo. I'm not sure where I can get a tattoo under age in IL. If I have to have my mom or dad with me they said they would come with me. But I dont know any shops that do tats for ppl under age...can anyone help me out??? Thanks!!!!!!!

Just wait until you're 18. If a tattooer can't follow the under 18 rule, then they can't properly follow health and safety guidelines either. And if they're not in a shop, they probably suck and you will have a shit tattoo. Now, are you gonna listen to any of that? Probably not. But just know it's pretty much fact, kthanx.

i would just like to say that while i havent tattooed anyone under 18 myself there is still no link between some one s cleanliness and their morals...fact is you have just as good a shot at getting a piece of shit tattoo in a tattoo shop. i would strongly encourage you to not only wait till your 18, but wait till you are totally sure you even want it and have found the right person to do it......in a shop.have fun!!!!
