watercolor tattoos..?

Someone was telling me about a watercolor effect that you can do with tattoos. What exactly does that look like?

As I told you in the e-mail a watercolor wash tattoo looks like a watercolor painting...the colors are meant to be very subtle and not bright....kind of washed out looking ...can be a very good effect
