Not trying to rain on your parade at all here, but if you're still in school it could be hard trying to find a shop thats serious about apprenticing you. They're checking for people who have the time to do the work required. Many shops arent really out looking for apprentices in the first place, many times because apprenticeships can take anywhere from a couple of months to a couple of years to complete depending on how fast that person can learn and the person teaching you. They're something that you'd have to seek out on your own. If your art skillz are up to par, get a portfolio of your best work together and search for a few shops in your area. Show them what you're capable of and ask them if they wouldnt mind taking on an apprentice.
But for now you might want to finish what you got goin' on and focus on getting some good art together.
Good luck with your search & All the best
Yea man. Tattooing is a very serious job and if it really means that much to you than you have to be prepeared to work and be a slave to the artist taking you in.
