To stare or not to stare

Hey going for a tat this friday and its the biggest one ive ever gotten. I like watching the artist give me the tat but is it annoying to have someone stare at it the entire time? I know when i work in the field i hate having customers look over my shoulder the whole entire time im working. Just asking.......and one more thing....whats a good amount to tip. This is going to be my first sitting on prolly a 3 sitting tat is there a percentage of what the sitting would cost i should tip? thanks

If you are going for multiple sittings, i suggest tipping your artist once the piece is completed. In your case, after the third session. If you decide to it this way let s/he know it ahead of time. And when tipping, remember, s/he is an artist .... and therefore starving.
