alright first people you need to understand, they should not get anymore praise than the other people that tat over here in South Beach. They do just as good of work as all the other 100 tattoo stores around. A 200 dollar min. is crazy, you can seriously walk down the street and find something better. Walk down Colins, Washington, Lincoln.. anything and you will find better Tattoo shops that do the same great work a lot cheaper. People are just going to them because they see them on tv, they are "celebrities", and for whatever stupid reason. Listen, seriously think before you go. BUt for everyone that doesnt care I walked by there today.. this is their address and phone number.
717 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL
0.9 mi S - (305) 531-4556
and the chances of you getting Tat by Chris, Darren, Ami, Garver, Kat are limited.. they arent the ones that are working all the time. It's like they are "actors", they do great work--but only work WHEN SHOOTING! You will most likely get done by the other people that are working there. So why spend so much money to wait in line for 3 hours to get tat by people you don't know?

According to the online yellow pages, that phone number (305-531-4556) is for Merlin's Tattoos at 1344 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach. The phone number they list for Miami Ink is 305-531-4465. I haven't tried calling either one (because I have no reason or desire to), so I'm not sure which is truly correct.
Actually the 4556 number is right, I just called it. I got asked to send in a video for casting. I don't care about being on the show but like it or not, Garver is a phenomenal artist. He is usually in LA when not taping the show, but I'll never get there and I'll be close to Miami next week. I would pay that much for a tat from him. He is totally worth it.
