Tattoo on back of ear

I want to get a tattoo on the back of the top part of my ear...the back of my cartilage, a tiny black peace sign. I was wondering if this is possible. I heard the ink will go through and the tattoo will be visible from the front of my ear. Is this true? what can you offer? thanks!!

first find a compitident artist that knows what the hell there talking about.second make damm sure they know fine line work.i did a rose in the same spot on a lady and it turned out fine.best of luck in your venture
