Tatt on the shoulder blade or between the shoulder blades

i've been wanting to get a tattoo either on my shoulder blade or between them, but i just cant find some thing i really want.... i want some thing like a flower, something a little girly but not too girly..... ive been lookin at web sites but i cant find one i really want if anyone has any good site that could help me out that would be great Thanx, Diana

Again people, an internet forum isnt really the place to find your base inspiration for a tattoo. You should get a tattoo that means something to you, and only you, that you've looked for, done the research on, and had in your mind for a while. You can ask people on the net about what kind of tattoos you should get all you want but that doesnt mean that they're going to give you the answer you want to hear. If you were to walk into someones tattoo shop and ask an artist to suggest a tattoo for you just off the top of their head, most of them wouldnt even try to give you an answer. Why? We know that half the time you wont like what we have in mind so why bother?! Heck, i could tell you to just get my name on ya somewhere. Focus on something that you absolutely love and think about it for a while on your own. Dont get a tattoo of something that wasnt thought out that some joker on an internet forum suggested for you. Like Mario said, why go with what someone else picks out for you? Your tattoo is for you, not someone else, and it isn't someone else's. I know i'd be pissed if i was walkin around and saw someone with the same tattoo that i got personally designed, specially if it's coming off a website like devientart where, last time i checked, that is like an online portfolio of people's work. maybe pick out a flower that means something to you, then take a picture of it into a shop and ask an artist to draw something up for you. They can design something for you a lot easier than somoene who doesn't even know you.

A tattoo should mean something strong to you! A friend of mine got tattooed a little over 6 months ago and already regrets the ink. I, on the other hand, was tattoed 2 years ago, and am still completely in love with it. Why? It means the world to me... A set of angel wings with my little brothers name inset between them. I got the tattoo 5 years to the day, after his death. The tattoo is small (about 3"x4") and centered in between my shoulder blades. I display it PROUDLY!

Since there's so many different flowers, what about picking one that means something to you? (Most flowers have a meaning associated with them, you can google that easily).... Some flowers are certainly unique-looking enough to not be "girly" and in addition you can have a meaning behind it, which is always a good thing.

you can go around searching on google for someting that means something to you... but I kinda liked marioJ's idea. how about a tattoo that says "WO IS A FUCKING GENIUS" across your back. put some flowers or somethin on each shoulder blade. google the "meaning" of the flowers, they have to mean "genius". I'm an asshole. I had too much coffee...

I used to draw the tattos I wanted on myself with sharpie markers and I remember drawing a rose on my calf week after week and finally I turned 18 and I did get a rose just in 5 other places I am saving the calf for a bigger art piece. But just try having friends draw stuff that you like and You can never go wrong with flowers.
