stupid question

im retarded i just was wondering. im a dude and i have never shaved my legs. i am getting a leg tat this saturday and i was just wondering, about how long will it be until my hair grows back? this is just me worring about stupid shit.

you shouldnt worry about how long it'll take to grow back, Id worry you might like it! My hair grows back in a few weeks. Wow, that almost felt too personal to share online...

I started shaving my legs regularily once again after getting tatted earlier this year. I used to do it when I cycled, but now I just like the way the tattoos look against a clean canvas, and the feel is always incredible. Even shaving only once a week is a pain in the ass though (my sympathies ladies), and as far as I'm concerned, the hair grows back too fast. TCE

The conventional wisdom is that if you shave, it comes back stronger. I've heard this is an old wife's tale. In my experience, there's a very itchy week or so, which you'll scarcely notice as your tattoo heals. Then it's easier. Depending on what sort of trousers you wear, it may irritate sometimes.
