Some people need to wait even longer!

I know that I am relatively new to this site and to the tattoo industry. But I have to think that everyone will appreciate this enlight of numerous postings on minors wanting/getting tattoos and we who stress patience and thought in the best interest of the art.... This is a prime example of "think" before you "do". Guy approached me about getting tattoo. ( Keep in mind that the guy is about 27-28ish) I had drawn an "In Memory" pattern that he liked and ended up getting at our shop and was looking to get another. So naturally I asked him, "What are you thinking about getting?" and this was his answer.... " Well, I was thinking about getting a big Tazmanian Devil with a red flannel shirt to cover my back...." I had to ask..."Why?" And he replied, "Well, when I was younger my friends in school used to call me Taz and made fun of me when I did stupid stuff." .... I looked him straight in the face and said, "So you're telling me that you want a giant Tazmanian Devil in a red flannel shirt on your back for the rest of your life to remind you of your friends who made fun of you for the stupid things you used to do when you were younger....?" And as if the lights had just turned on for the first time he said, "Good point. That would be pretty stupid." ... Somethings obviously don't change.
Well, not much elaboration necessary there....
Thats a great anecdote.
