seeking a lightning tattoo

Hi everyone just found this board and i have a question for ya all! I have been trying to find something online and havnt even found anything close to what i want. in a nut shell I want a real life lightning storm! as in the full blow archs and cloads everything. I will also be putting a translucent Eagle in the center and the storm is going to be Forming FROM the eye of the eagle. anyways i would love someone to tell me where i cna see some good examples of a lightning storm tattoo. I plan on this being about half a sleeve starting form my upper shoulder and going 3/4 to my elbow! price is no object! just want info THANKS ALOT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would find photographic reference and bring it to a custom tattoo artist. Here are some links to googles lightning storm search and eagle search. As far as the tattoo artist, I believe Joe Capobianco is doing a guest spot there soon. You should also talk to Mike Sirot from Chronic Tattoo right there in San Diego. I've sent a few folks there and they all rave about the artists and their new tattoos. If you do talk to these guys, let em know I sent ya.

My advice is to not look for a "lightning storm TATTOO" you should be looking for 3 elements 1. actual photo reference of lightning, 2. actual photo reference of your eagle 3. an artist who can combine these elements properly to create, what could be one kick ass tattoo, good luck! mike

I looked oline for hours over 2 days and found nothing. I finally made my own lightning from some weather channel pics. Made the pics into a negative and then had them put on my back. hey what i wicked idea, i just came on here to to look up up some pictures of a storm tattoo, i was thinking more alone the lines of crazy thunder clouds, with lightning and wind, and something in the storm caught up in the wind but i am unsure of what that might be just yet, i wanted mine on about the midle of my back if ya got any ideas that would be awesome good luck with yours, i think thats going to be sweet
