Portrait with a twist artist

I want to get a cartoony portrait of my sons. What type of artist would you go with-one that is great with portraits or one who is great with cartoony type art (ex. Joe C.)? I know I can't go wrong with guys from Hope in CT, but wanted some input. Thanks in advance

I actually emailed Jime Litwalk to see if he was coming to CT anytime. I'll try to go with Joe C. if I can get an appt. deservingly he is currently so busy he isn't even taking new client appt until the fall, and even then who knows how far out he is? But month/year wait for the best is definitely worth it!
