Pec Shield + Half Sleeve Stencil

Hey guys I like the site. I really hope this doesn't get deleted but it's kind of in a gray area. I recently got out and made a decent "living" drawing tattoo designs and yes I took part in even filling in a tattoo or two(yes it was bad but when all you got is time a person gets bored....real easy). I myself didn't get *much* work done, infact I saved the major pieces I planned on getting till I got out so they could be done right and be done in alittle better detail. Now I have designed all my own work, and I have a buddy who has designed acouple pieces and I would love to combine them(yes I have his permission) to create pec shields + half sleeves. I do not plan on doing tattooing as a career, maybe designing as a hobby - but never again will I myself pick up anything remotely close to a tattoo gun.. What I would like to do though is pull together this design, but I need to know what kind of shape I'd need to make the stencil if the piece was coming off my pec, and wrapping around my arm(including my arm pit). Any help or places I could go to find out would be great thank you.

Karma...at this point what you should probably do is consult with a competent custom tattoo artists( where are you in Canada?...maybe we can suggest someone?) who can put your designs together for you...thats their job!...And thanks for the post...Send us pics of your new tattoo when ya get it done.TAz

Heck yeah, what Taz said. See if you can find a good artist in your area to sit down and talk with about pieces like that. Chest plates and half sleeves are cool to look at but are huge undertakings that require a good understanding of flow and function to make 'em work well on the body. Consulting a tattooist who knows a little about that sort of stuff would save you from drawing up all sorts of cool designs that look great on paper but wont translate well into tattoos.
