paying attention to tips?

I am sure that we have talked about this before here, but now I actually have to pay attention to the answer. Should you tip your artist? How much should you tip? If you are already paying 700 bucks for a tattoo are you really expected to tip 100 on top of that??? I have to work out my finances before I walk in there because I think they may only take cash. What’s your take on this???

They are nice to give, give what you can afford if you want to give one. Nobody should expect it...unless you work as a server and only make 2 dollars an hour cause the system is retarded. But...we're talking about tattoos.
