My Custom Machine Building

whats goin on, im an apprentice in new york at mackenzies forever ink and, my mentor hasnt really had the time to get into machine building yet with me. He's mad busy. I have been there a few months now after teaching my self and carvin some people up out of my apartment... anyway, I think it would be sick to surprise him with a machine I built totally from scratch my self, and that could be a good way for him to get me on that track. so I was wondering if there is any reference material out there, books or something to get me started on how to build machines, what kind of parts are good for what and ect. Any answers are greatly appreciated Thanks. John

I haven't had the opportunity to read machine gun,but I can tell you there's not a lot on the net for machine building.Since you're in a shop you should be able to take a machine and get measurements.Then you can change what you want,make it suit you.

If you have to bribe your mentor so he will teach you machine building then get a new mentor!!

If you have a Eikon supplier book most of them show pictures of a gun all broken down.Thats good to learn all the parts.Then maybe if u ask him real nice hel let you take apart one of his and rebuild it.
