Machine Troubles....Please Help

Hey Guys, I just have a question for everyone about how to get one of my liners to push a 11-14RL. With all of my liner machines; Pulse Executive, TedTed Warbird, Cain Round Back, I can seem to get good solid lines with anything larger than a 11RL. Im not sure if I just am not setting my spring tension right or what. Ive only been tattooing for about a year now. The woman I apprenticed under never really used anything larger than a 8RL, so she isn't of much help with what I can do. If anyone else has gone through this and figured it out, I just need some suggestions. Maybe I am just really stupid, I am not sure. Let me know.

it could be the following: 1- tight tips 2- small coils 3- low voltage 4- soft springs 5- you don't know what ya doing 6- a combination of all of these points
