its about time

ive been reading this board for a very long time and rarely ever post. but i decided to post some of my artwork and hear all your criticism. I have had my aprentiship but was screwed over by the artist. long story short i only have one picture of one tattoo i did and some other drawings and one zombie water color. please let me know what you think and if i have any promising protential to keep moving towards this dream. designone looks nice to bad it isnt finished. i think your stuff is good. keep workin on your artwork and youre bound to get another apprenticeship with a good attitude and a great portfolio.

You have potential. Just a matter of practice and learning tons. One thing I picked up on (as a non-artist type) is that the composition of the piece is vital to viewing pleasure, make sure there is enough contrast in the background/subject to make the image "pop".

Very very good work.Some of them look unfinished but that's just the color and the shading. Don't be afraid to go really bold and dark when you can, especially with the rotting faces. I really love the fourth one from the bottom. That kind of plume stuff is right up my alley! Your lines ae incredible!...bolding in all the right places. "chica" is a very good example of that. I love the old school feel of her. Try using black shading gradiating to color with some of the stylized pieces. It makes the color pop right out. thanks a ton for taking the time to check my stuff out! and the design1 is a design for a t-shirt. that is why there is only certain pieces colored. but the advise about making the piece look complete is very true. so i will work on that and post again soon with some wanna be fully finished pieces of art. thanks again!

I am working extremly hard to get my art work to standard so i can once again get a aprenticeship.
