deanne, your best bet is to see the artist that did the work. anyone here is going to say it's hard to say without seeing a picture. however, everyone here is too involved in petty board drama bullshit to apparently help you out. for that i apologize. i would also let your tattoo breathe a bit. i'm not sure of the care directions that the artist gave you - but i've never heard of leaving the bandage on for a full 24 hours. good luck to you! bee (ps: if the artist cant help you, YES get your booty to a doctor)

That does seem like a really long time to have the bandage on. I agree, check with your artist first...if it's peeling that's a good thing right? He/She would know best and I'm sure if he or she doesn't know they'll point you in the direction of your doctor. Good luck! Dana

24 hours is kinda the catch all for healing instructions. Bring the tattoo to the artist who did it, healing differs between artists... I would think your tattoo should have peeled a few days ago and you should be using lotion, but without seeing a pic its hard to tell. thanks for stepping in ladies, I was busy working organizing TattooNOW and getting the office finally settled. holy moses, after 5 yerars we may actually have an office we can stay in for a few months before we outgrow the studio. ack.
