hair dye and tattoo

I had a tattoo placed on my back about 2 weeks ago..actually exactly 2 weeks ago. I need to color my hair ( yes, sigh, I am old)...long brown hair ....will the dye washing down my back in the shower effect the tattoo? Or am I healed up and "safe".....Thank you!!! Erin

You are probably safe, we tell people to wait for 3 weeks and rinse asap after dyeing.

Thanks..I did it, and it is fine. Its been over two weeks now, and the tattoo is still dry a little...but hopefully it will be finished soon. Thanks!! Erin
