family plaid/tartan tattoo

I'm looking for a reputable tattoo artist in Arizona who can tat my family's tartan on my arm. It contains blue, green, & a bit of red. Is this tattoo feasible without looking like one dark blob? Any suggestions?

Tartan tattoos are possible. My husband has one. Our artist is in Charlotte, NC so not a great help to you and she swore off ever doing another tartan because it was so labor intensive and hard to do. Keep looking around and looking at artists' portfolios. DO NOT SETTLE. Tartans are very hard to do and have look right. Here is a pic of my husband's tattoo.
