examples of "stained glass" tattoos?

I'd like to get a piece done that looks something like stained glass, but I haven't seen too many examples of it done successfully. One thing I've seen on a friend who went for that effect is that they used white highlights that look good at first, but then the colour looked completely washed out after a couple months Does anyone have any reference pieces they could point me to, as well as if adding white highlights is the only way to get the "light" effect? I'd like to have something substantial to bring in when I ask for a tattoo that looks like that.

You know, looking at both of them and the quality of work is incredible... I want work like that someday... it makes me want to hold out till i can afford the best artist possible, y'know? In fact while we were discussing it, in came two girls who kept looking through the flash asking how much each peice would cost until they got to one that was cheap enough. Then they were pissed because the studio I go to is so booked they can't handle walk-ins most of the time. So the girls would have to schedule an appointment. The girls went across the street to the sketchy shop (whose work I've seen and is sub-par) because they could get in right then (no they weren't refered there).
