ok well, i was an apprentice for about half a year at one shop when things between me and the owner didnt really work out. In that time i was running alot of pulse, Machines and old frame rebuilds with pulse guts (coils and eikon armature bars and springs) But all this time Ive been using my reliable Pulse Power unit. Its not on the site anymore but you can have two settings on it. Its a nice Machine Artists i respect use it: Nick Baxter, Albie Rock. Ive been tattoing with it for half a year and ive been tattooed by it from albie rock.
But now im at a new shop BodyCreations in rochester NH. Where my "mentor" insists on the Eikon EMS200 because of the informitive readout. But i read a post on the nick baxter forum saying Paco Rollins said to throw the eikon away and stick with pulse.
any comments on either power unit. anyone used both and could compare?
eikon ems200 or pulse?

We know that they are both GREAT supplys the Pulse has the option of dual settings...the Eikon has the great readout which is handy if you are one of the techie types...wouldn't it be nice if the two got together and had a hybrid baby?....But alas!...I have tried...I put my pulse in a drawer along with my Eikon along with a bottle of Mad dog 20/20 to set the mood but no hybrid baby as of yet
