DONATION

Was sitting at work today, and I had to redo my will. (In the army, I update it every 6 months). and I got to thinking...... When people die, some people just have a funeral, some donate their organs to help others, and some people donate their bodys to science.... Any one ever heard of donating your body to your local tattoo shop? All the apprentices could have the remaining skin (not taken up by ink already) to practice on! Just one of the many bizarr thoughts that run threw my demented mind! Baker sendz...............

Oi..... Its... an idea but.... I mean its not a bad idea...... Just.. yeow! I'm squeamish just thinking of it. Now THAT would cut down on the amount of folks who want apprenticeships! But still... very good idea. Please don't mistake my girlish wincing and so forth as disagreement :)

Just to clear things up.... I did not PUT THIS IN MY WILL!!! Just was wondering what people thaught of this! This was just something that popped into my mind while I was writing my will! TCE, Man you must be workin on some dirty people, if they smell worse than a corpse!!! Although I am not a tattoo artist (just a collector) and I really dont like the idea of an artist turning a customer away (that is of age and sober) If they would come in for a tattoo dirty, funky, and smelly... How well are they gonna care for the tattoo when it is done! And yeah ur right.... DEAD MEN DON'T BITCH! Baker sendz.............

Since you brought it up...in Japan it is a historical fact that members of the Yakuza crime families and others often sold their heavily tattooed skins to collectors and even museums to be collected after their deaths...this was done legally with signed contracts etc for many many years...its main purpose was to provide for the families of the tattooed men after their deaths....laws have since been passed in Japan to forbid this practise however its still done on a black market agenda....There is a museum in I believe Nagasaki with a collection of thousands of preserved and beautifully tattooed human skins.....TAz.

Really? That is kinda interesting... I mean, I am not gonna jump on a plane to japan... but that would be very interesting to see! Baker sendz..........

about 10, maybe 15 yrs ago, I was approached about a program, that I applied to, and was accepted. The Smithsonian Institute was looking for heavilly tattooed corpses to be used in a couple anthropologic displays, I was told it would be used for a tattoo exhibit. but honestly, I dont care if they display me or make lamp shades out of me. kind of like immortality, I guess.
