Does anyone else feel ticklish while getting a tattoo?

Maybe I'm crazy, but there were actually times while I was getting my ankle/foot tattoo that I felt stinging and tickling simultaneously. Has this happened to anyone else. Thankfully, much of the time it just felt scratchy or stingy, and I was able to keep my foot stationary. The most trouble I had staying still is when the vibrations were tickling in front of my ankle and the side of my foot. I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing, which would have shaken my whole body. My wife found all this to be amusing. Anyway, none of my friends with tattoos have experienced this. I would be most appreciative if someone could verify that getting inked can actually tickle in some cases. Peace.
