Confused

Im wanting a tattoo...either on the top of my foot or on my wrist...something little..maybe a heart or something. But I keep hearing different stories. Some people say the ones the have on their feet fade and some say the dont...ever! So Im confused. I need help. Which is better..and less painful.? Im open for ANY suggestions. Thanks..Jessica!

lots of factors to consider, first off everyone's skin is different and takes to ink differently. second is the quality of the artist, professional artists obviously will do a better job and keep it looking good for longer than someone who doesn't know what they are doing. also if you keep your feet covered vs always exposing them to sun will affect how good it looks over the years. also aftercare is very important, make sure to follow your artists instructions to the T, and be careful of sun, saltwater, chlorine, etc. when its healing. i think overall though foot tattoos look good and will stay looking good for many years. as with any spot that gets a lot of wear and rubbing you will have to get it touched up from time to time, but that can be expected. good luck!!
