Bumps and itchy tat after two months!

I have a big problem with my tattoo. This is actually my 4th tat. I gt it done two months ago and the blue part, which of course is the biggest part of the tat, has been bumpy, itchy and raised. It just won't go away! I have no idea what to do. Pretty sure it's a reaction, but my questions are: 1. Will it ever heal? 2. How can I make it heal faster ( I have tried hydrocortisone and Benedryl) and 3. Will I ever be able to get another tat with blue in it. My tattoo isn't finished but I am afraid to go back in! Any help would be much appreciated.

If you can send pics of your tattoo it would help..... Where on your body is the tattoo? If I were to take an educated stab at this, right now instead of using hydrocortisone or benedryl, which may be actually be functioning as an irritant, use an advanced healing NON-scented lotion (i.e Vaseline Intesive Care) and see if that helps with the itching and swelling. Once again, however, it would help to see the tattoo, so if you have access to send pics, please do so. J @ Painted Angel Studios
