Apprenticing in Canada

Good Morning All. I have been interested in tattooing for several years now, and have quite a few myself (which I all got from tattoo shops) and am now wanting to maybe start an aprenticeship to see if this is for me or not. I have looked around in the city that I live in and cannot find anyone who will want to take one on. There is little or no way that I am able to move at this time as I just graduated from university. Does anyone have suggestions for me?

i'm not a tattoo artist, but i will be seeking an apprenticeship in Canada. did you read the posts on apprenticing and bring in a portfolio of your work? have you applied at the same shops that you've been tattooed by? I don't have much of an idea what "being persistent without being annoying" looks like, but someone else probably does. Saskatchewan is a pretty rough place to look for that stuff.. the mentality out there man.. I wouldn't want to be where you are, that's for sure. Good luck.
