I already have three tattoos (one on my lower back, right ribcage, and right foot) and Im proud to say I designed them all and that they all have meaning......I am a philosophy major and I am fasinated with Rene Descartes who famously said "I think therefore I am" or in latin "cogito ergo sum".....I want to get a tattoo with that famous quote included however I am drawing a blank......Nothing too big and detailed just something simple that reflects the quote and is feminin yet interesting......does anyone have ANY suggestions???
ANYONE CARE TO HELP

I dont know if you'll like this idea but ive always like that statue By Rodan called The Thinking Man and when you brought up that that quote by descartes it made me think of it. itd be cool to get the thinking man as tattoo and include the quote under it but for a feminine touch why not make it the thinking woman. Maybe even have the artist use you as the model for it.

I thought of the thinker right away too. You could also go an alex grey route and have energy goodness eminating from a head or some such...
I really like the idea of a thinking woman in a similar pose as the thinking man! Or, you could spend some time thinking about places of inspiration for you or symbols that you think would represent the quote. For example, I am able to think best when I am in nature by running water......where are you able to spend time just thinking.
