an in remembrance tattoo for a father

i'm wanting to get a tattoo in memory of my dad, but not sure of what to get..i was thinking maybe a chinese symbol of love or peace. any ideas?

i think you should get a image that reminds you of him,not any names, symbols,ect...a custom artist will be able to do that for you...

i just got a necklace around my neck with two dogtags on it. one has a cross and one has a halo and wings. my best friend recently passed away and i will miss her forever. her name was angel, hince the wings and halo. anyways, i love the tat and think its really original and looks really good.
