Affect of weight loss on tattoos

I am currently in the process of loosing a very large amount of weight, but I have also wanted a tatoo for a long time, and do not want to wait any longer. The tattoo I want is a simple dog paw print, and I want it on the top of my left foot. My question, for anyone out there, is will my future weight loss affect the size, shape, or clarity of a tattoo on the foot? I have been searching for info, and so far, everything I have found seems to say it wouldnt affeect it, but I would really appreciate some help, and maybe some info from someone in similar situation. weight loss with more than 3 inches of tissue area would be of affect to tatt area so say you lost over 3 inches total surface area of foot then yes tattoo would be affected if this makes sense 8 inches minus 3 inches = 5 inch circumfrance thus affect would be in that area

in addition to being horribly critical i am a nsca certified personal trainer and can tell you that your body will change drastically during large weight loss. with a majority of the people i have worked with they do lose weight in their feet, and it is common if they are obese to actually go down a shoe size. after the weight loss your skin will be tighter. take that as you will. you should wait until after you have lost the weight and are a stable maintenance weight that you can be happy with your body image for the rest of your life before you decide to permanently modify your skin. and please for the love of god don't get one of those paw print tattoos.
