abigail translated into tibetan

Looking to translate abigail, and the intials KVL and GNT into tibetan script I also saw a tatoo that looked like the earth with waves around. It appeard to look like the sun from afar. It was done in either a gaelic or celtic style of art. It had two color tones black and blue. Would love to see some designs of this. Any help would be appreciated. Garrett

Hi I can actually help with both. The translation for the three words and initials are "onlyassholesgettattoosinlanguagestheydon'tspeak." long word huh! the design is called "don'tripoffotherpeople'stattooslikeashithead," or at least that's how they say it in tibetan.

Thanks for your informed response Taz. That is a good honest answer. All I was looking for. Tibetan was only one choice I have thought about. I am not budhist but do read and follow a lot of budhist philosphy. As Tibetan is a very artistic language, I thought this might be a possibility. So once again thank you for your response. Garrett

You know, it's easy to get names and such done in the _style_ of tibetan without it actually being the language. The problem with translation is that names do not exist in every language, so you could get abigail as A-B-I-G-A-I-L with the corresponding tibetan characters, and it would be jiberish in that language, or you could get "something close". In german class freshman year, my "something close" was Dagmar, my real name is Deirdre. That's pretty much how it works out for any language, unless your name is Elizabeth or Robert, there seem to be permutations of those names in every language. You could try to match the "meaning" of the name, which is just about as hit and miss as translating the whole name. All this brings me to this one answer, which should be the answer for every "I don't know the language but it looks pretty so I want something translated into it" question. Have the artist draw the name in the style of language in english, or whatever language the name originates in. I'm sure someone can do that, because I can do that and I'm half retarded. Done and done.
